Our 2nd annual Back to School Drive was a success!
Last year we’ve been able to distribute book bags as well as stationery to 300 children, though our efforts came short of 50 this time around. Our nationwide recognition has expanded slightly as some children from Arima, Tunapuna, Maraval, Chaguanas and Diego Martin received book bags aside from our primary community of the Beetham Gardens. The Drive had been held on Wednesday 28th of August at the Hell Yard basketball court (Phase 5).
Book bags were distributed to children from the kindergarten age group, all the way to form 4 level students. As always, there were the spirit of Joy, gladness and relief on the faces of the parents and children not only for the book bags and stationery but for the snacks and treats shared among all. We’re looking forward to a productive and prosperous school year for the children. If you’d like to see the full gallery, click here.
